Job Summary
Job Title:Anesthesia Technician Surgical Services
Location:Syracuse NY
Assignment Duration:13 Weeks
Shift:Day (7:00 AM 3:00 PM) / Evening (1:00 PM 9:00 PM) Rotating
Weekly Gross Pay : $2080/week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Anesthesia Technician Surgical Servicesfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical procedures
- Perform room turnovers and ensure readiness for upcoming cases
- Assist anesthesia providers during procedures including:
- Central line placement
- Arterial line (A-line) insertion
- Swan-Ganz (thermodilution catheter) placement
- Troubleshoot anesthesia machines across various models
- Maintain infection control and sterilization standards
- Manage inventory including ordering and restocking supplies and carts
- Support procedures where general anesthesia is administered
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program
- National certification through ASATT
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Experience with cardiac cases and invasive line procedures
- Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
- Familiarity with anesthesia equipment and reprocessing methods
- Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- 35 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician
- Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center
