2 years conveyor maintenance and repair experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluates equipment failures and provides complex emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment.
Ensures repairs and equipment downtime does not negatively impact the ability to meet service level agreements.
Performs complex technical duties but not limited to mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production/facility machines.
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
Performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
Detects faulty operations defective material and makes necessary repairs; reporting any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Operates motorized equipment as necessary for driving and repairs to include forklift order selector pallet jack floor sweeper etc.
Complies with all safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Helps maintain documentation for facility and equipment.
Essential Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and/or walk continuously during the assigned shift.
Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 100lbs during the assigned shift 30lbs or less continuously 50lbs frequently and 100lbs occasionally.
Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift.
Ability to bend squat/kneel twist/turn climb crawl reach above shoulder and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift.
Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends.
Requires activities involving being around moving machinery exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity and exposure to dust fumes and gases.
Willingness and ability to be equipment certified and able to meet physical requirements of equipment operator
