Senior Quantity surveyor Quantity surveyor

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for preparing and managing all quantity and cost remeasurement variation claims budgeting and forecasting tasks related to the project.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project costs from inception to completion providing accurate cost projections and detailed reports.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to assess project scope changes adjusting cost estimates and budgets as needed.
• Review and understand drawings and material take-off issued by project team or contractors. quantity survey capabilities for various disciplines of work such as Structural Piping Electrical Mechanical Architectural Coating etc.
• Perform site inspection to verify quantities / changes for remeasurement and variation claims.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts offering transparency and insight into budget performance and variances.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in quantity surveying construction management engineering or a related field. 
• 5 years experience in quantity surveying within oil & gas and energy sectors with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 10 years experience as be considered as Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Proficiency in quantity measurement cost forecasting reporting cost management software and advanced Excel skills.
