Job Summary

This posting is intended to collect expressions of interest for potential future opportunities.

As a Project Controls Specialist you will focus on supporting project planning scheduling budgeting and cost control to ensure projects are completed on time within scope and within budget. The specialist will collaborate with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to ensure successful and efficient project delivery.

What would you be doing

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project to track timelines milestones and deliverables
  • Prepare and monitor cost estimates and budgets tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Identify project risks and support mitigation planning while proactively addressing issues impacting schedule or cost
  • Create and deliver regular project reports dashboards and updates for stakeholders
  • Coordinate resources (personnel equipment materials) to ensure efficient project execution
  • Manage change orders and scope updates while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support overall project performance

Qualifications :

  • 35 years of experience in project controls project management or a related field with exposure to complex projects considered an asset
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Primavera P6 MS Project and Excel with Power BI considered an asset
  • Solid understanding of project scheduling budgeting and cost control principles
  • Excellent communication organization and attention to detail
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
