Your next career opportunity:

You will contribute to an MRFF-funded multi-centre stroke rehabilitation trial delivering task-specific resistance training interventions and assessments. You will coordinate participant recruitment home-based sessions and data collection gaining strong clinical research and trial management experience.

What you will deliver:

  • Coordinate screening recruitment and informed consent for stroke survivors across Western Health and community settings

  • Plan and deliver protocol-driven task-specific resistance training sessions and outcome assessments in clinics and participants homes.

  • Management of research data including activity monitors ensuring accurate entry cleaning and reporting.

  • Maintaining secure storage compliant with Good Clinical Practice requirements.

  • You will prepare progress reports presentations and manuscripts for internal and external audiences.

  • Supporting ethics submissions and grant applications for neurological rehabilitation research projects.

  • Contribute to team meetings stakeholder engagement and social media activities promoting the SWIFT trial.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Hold current AHPRA physiotherapy registration or ESSA exercise physiology accreditation plus Good Clinical Practice accreditation.

  • Bring at least three years clinical experience with people living with neurological conditions including stroke rehabilitation.

  • Possess a valid drivers licence reliable vehicle and willingness to conduct home-based sessions across Melbournes west.

  • Demonstrate high-level skills in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint plus accurate detail-focused data management capabilities.

  • Show proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet trial milestones and competing deadlines.

  • Offer prior experience with randomised controlled trials including participant recruitment ethics processes and structured outcome measurement.
