Machine Operator 1st Shift

Avery Dennison is looking for a mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our production team. As a Technical Pilot of our equipment you will take ownership of advanced labeling technology to ensure we meet high-quality production goals. Your Day-to-Day

• Precision Operation: Efficiently operate label machines to meet daily production deadlines and quality specifications.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Monitor gauges and controls identifying the root cause of malfunctions to minimize waste.

• Digital Accuracy: Use ERP systems to log time and materials maintaining strict inventory (FIFO) and QC records.

• Safety First: Maintain a clean organized workspace and strictly follow all PPE and safety protocols.

• Collaboration: Coordinate with the Production Supervisor and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications :

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.

• Experience: 12 years of related machine operation or mechanical training.

• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to measure close tolerances.

• Physical: Ability to stand for the full shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and color vision for quality checks.

• Shift: 1st Shift 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (Overtime as needed).

• Pay Range: $17.79 - $23.72 / hour (Based on experience).

The hourly rate for this position is $17.79 - $23.72 / hour.
