Analytical Laboratory Intern

   Title: Analytical Laboratory Intern

   Location: Tomball TX

   Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm

What your day might look like:

• The intern will support daily operations of a high volume modern analytical laboratory processing over 200 samples per day. Specifically the intern will be responsible for various tasks such as: sample management data entry record keeping database development sample preparation and continuous improvements in EHS and quality departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine sample preparation as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 

• Manage inventory for required operating materials. 

• Ensure strict adherence to all Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. 

• Ensure strict adherence to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Management System requirements. 

• Effectively manage all assigned tasks to ensure completion by established due dates. 

• Provide support for other departments and complete additional tasks as assigned.

   Our Ideal Candidate:

• Required Skills: Proficient computer skills including typing and Word/Excel (Docs/Sheets) Good communication skills Good safety awareness Professional attitude and behavior and Seeking a career in STEM.

• Minimum Qualifications: 18 years old 2 years college course work completed pursuing/completed degree in STEM.

• Preferred Qualifications: Recently graduated with a 2 year/4 year degree in chemistry chemical engineering biology or related field
