What is the role
Aerogen is a fast-growing progressive healthcare company improving patient outcomes through innovative aerosol drug delivery. We are looking for a Corporate Communications Associate to join our Galway-based team.
This is an early-career role suited to someone with experience in communications marketing or a related field who is looking to build their skills in a fast-paced global organisation. Youll support the delivery of communications across the business helping to keep activities organised on track and aligned.
Working closely with senior team members youll gain hands-on experience across internal events stakeholder coordination content delivery and brand consistency. Its an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly organised detail-focused and eager to learn with exposure to a wide range of communications activities.
What are the key responsibilities
Communications Coordination & Team Support
Provide day-to-day coordination support across the Corporate Communications team ensuring activities are well planned organised and executed.
Support the senior members of the team in delivering communications initiatives across digital internal engagement and stakeholder activities.
Coordinate timelines approvals and materials across multiple communications projects.
Act as a central point of coordination for communications-related requests from across the business.
Internal Events & Engagement Support
Support the planning and delivery of internal events and engagement initiatives across Aerogens sites.
Coordinate logistics for internal meetings and events including:
o Venue sourcing (e.g. hotel scouting where required)
o Travel arrangements for internal stakeholders
o Materials preparation and print coordination
Provide on-the-ground support during events to ensure smooth execution and a high quality employee experience.
Support internal communications for events led by other functions ensuring alignment with Aerogens brand and messaging.
Stakeholder & Executive Support
Provide coordination support for senior leaders and stakeholders as part of corporate communications-related activities including:
o Travel and logistics arrangements
o Preparation of materials and supporting documentation
Assist in ensuring all communications outputs are prepared reviewed and delivered to a high standard.
Brand & Content Support
Support the development and preparation of communications materials including:
o Internal communications content (intranet updates announcements presentations)
o External content (social media support basic written materials)
Review presentations and communications materials (e.g. PowerPoint decks) to ensure consistency with Aerogens brand guidelines and messaging.
Support the preparation and coordination of branded materials for events (e.g. pull-ups signage collateral) ensuring the brand is consistently and professionally represented.
Digital & Communications Support
Support execution of digital communications activities including:
o Scheduling social media content using tools such as Hootsuite (or equivalent)
o Assisting with website content updates where required
Assist in compiling communications reports and performance updates using tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights.
Operations & Administration
Provide administrative and operational support for the Corporate Communications function including:
o Purchase orders (POs) invoice processing and vendor coordination
o Budget tracking support and documentation
o Maintaining organised records of communications materials and assets
Support the team in maintaining structured processes timelines and documentation.
What education and experience are required
Degree in Communications Marketing Event Management Business or similar is desirable.
Experience supporting events coordination administration or communications activities is highly beneficial.
Experience with digital tools such as Microsoft Office (PowerPoint Excel) and platforms such as Hootsuite Canva or similar is an advantage.
What key skills will make you great at the role
Strong written communication and editing skills with high attention to detail.
Digital-first mindset comfortable using tools such as Canva PowerPoint Hootsuite (or similar).
Basic understanding of website and social performance metrics (ideally including Google Analytics).
Highly organised and detail-oriented able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
Proactive and enthusiastic a self-starter who takes ownership and follows through.
