Senior Program Manager (hybrid)

What You Will Do

JohnsonControlsis seeking to fill the position of Senior Program Manager based in one of our advanced R&D facilitieslocatedin Cranston RI. This role offers a hybrid work environment requiring three days of in-office presence and allowing two days of remote work each week.

The Senior Program Manager will be accountable for the coordination and successful execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects concerning FireSuppression products. This role entails overseeing allfacetsof projectsestablishingdeadlines assigning responsibilities andmonitoringas well as summarizing project require candidates to be US Citizens and/or permanent residents of the US. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

How You Will Do It

• You willleverageyour extensive experience and sound judgment to strategically plan andaccomplishobjectives engaging in a diverse range of tasks.

• Prepare comprehensive reports for upper managementregardingproject statuses. Maintain familiarity with various engineering projectmanagement andproduct concepts practices and procedures.

• Execute tasks with quality and timeliness whether under direct supervision or independently.

• Establish and sustain effective working relationships across teams.

• Utilize strong organizational navigation skills tofacilitateprogress and drive results.

• Uphold the organizations values by promptly escalating issues to theappropriate managersfor resolution sharing best practices across teams serving as a brand advocate and mentoring others to foster a supportive work environment.

• Build andmaintainpositive relationships with all stakeholdersofferingassistancewith issues or concerns to ensure satisfactory resolution.

What We Look For
Required

• Bachelors degree preferably in Engineering.

• 8 years of professional experience inelectronicproduct design and new product introduction within a manufacturing context (e.g. collaboration with design engineers manufacturing sourcing product management marketing etc.).

• 8 years of experience in program management.

• Proventrack recordof successfully managing product development projects to completion.

• Familiarity with PMIs Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK).

• Experience with product launchs.

• US Citizen and/or permanent resident

Preferred

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

• Proficiencyin Visio.

• Experience within the fire protection industry.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $110000 - $150000 (Salary to be determined by the education experienceknowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with marketdata.)
