• Project Dates:Start datefrom mid-Mayrunning approximately until Late-June.
• Roster: Monday to Saturday Days/Nights 11-hour shifts.
• Competitive Rate:EBA rates OT Penalties (from base rate) Site Allowance.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Downers Energy & Utilities business is seeking casual Special Class Weldersto provide outage services at the NRG Gladstone Power Station QLD. Starting in mid-May Downer will offer mechanical and project services throughout the outage period. As a Special Class Welder you will apply your expertise in piping setup structural and welding fabrication and boiler casings ensuring that all work is completed safely effectively and to the required standards.

ABOUT YOU

• Site Proficient:Experienced in outages and projects in the power generation or heavy industrial sector
• Team Oriented:Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
• Workplace Safety:Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
• Qualifications:Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E) Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 3 years) Construction white card
• Trade certificate: All Welding qualifications will be required to complete an onsite weld test.
