UW Medical Center-Northwest Behavioral Health - Geropsychiatry has outstanding opportunities for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Certified Nursing Assistant positions.

WORK SCHEDULE

90% FTE (36 hours per week)

Day Shift 7:00am - 7:30pm

No Specific Schedule

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and indirect care to patients and their families under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse
• Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing showering dressing getting in and out of bed or a chair walking using the toilet and eating
• Maintain a safe environment of care
• Patient transportation
• Prepare patients for surgery
• Perform non-invasive lab procedures
• Transport equipment and supplies
• Assist with treatments
• Perform various clerical tasks
• Take vital signs

REQUIREMENTS

• Current valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with WA State (please indicate your NA-C credential number on your resume)
• High School graduation and six months experience involving direct patient care or customer service in a health care setting; OR equivalent education/experience.
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card by start date
