Sr. Vendor Manager, Toys & Entertainment

Amazon is looking for a customer focused team-oriented and analytical leader to join the Toys & Entertainment team.

The Senior Vendor Manager Toys & Entertainment will be responsible for the total P&L for a segment of Licensed Entertainment Product (Retail) setting the strategy for driving growth creating strong partnerships with selling partners adding and inspiring new selection managing category profitability optimizing business inputs and outputs and delivering our vision for our customer experience. This includes identifying potential brand and product business opportunities building direct relationships with key suppliers negotiating contracts working with suppliers to build comprehensive joint business plans and developing collaborative marketing and promotions and driving sales and margin improvements. The right candidate stays on top of market segment and competitive trends and is able to execute at both a tactical and strategic level to drive selection sales and margin addition the Sr Vendor Manager must be an effective leader and communicator internally and externally spanning selling partners supply chain marketing PR Finance operations and tech teams.

The ideal candidate has strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management. Proven analytical thinking project management skills attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are musts. The Senior Vendor Manager is an effective leader and communicator and a seasoned problem-solver.

This position provides leadership within the Licensed Entertainment Product team - driving systems process and customer experience improvements that will benefit all categories within the team and across Amazon Stores.

The Licensed Entertainment team represents the Entertainment side of Toys & Entertainment. We work with the worlds largest Entertainment and Gaming studios to develop customer engagement strategies that drive selection brand awareness affinity loyalty and conversion.

- 5 years of account management project or program management or buying experience
- Bachelors degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience with business analysis and P&L management

- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
- Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products workflows or customer experiences.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
