Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional and problem-solving manner including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry while following post orders reporting procedures and weapon handling requirements for an armed assignment.
• Support security-related operations by preparing detailed incident reports communicating with supervisors and/or public officials and assisting with crowd traffic or access control during routine and unusual events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
