This is a truly unique opportunity for a curious and hands-on Junior Software Engineer who

wants to go beyond coding and gain real-world experience in manufacturing and production

environments.

You will work on a project for a global automotive innovator known for pioneering safety and

combining Scandinavian design with cutting-edge technology.

This role gives you the rare chance to bridge software development with real production

systems working directly with hardware manufacturing stations and live environments.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be part of an agile team deploying testing and supporting digital solutions for

production plant in Košice.

With an always-on mindset you will support multiple departments by configuring testing

and maintaining systems that connect devices tools and applications within the factory

ecosystem.

You will collaborate with local IT teams global specialists and operations teams while gaining

hands-on experience in both software engineering and service technician responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate closely with hardware operators and application stakeholders

• Install and configure services connecting hardware with enterprise systems

• Support testing of manufacturing stations and device integrations

• Verify and troubleshoot network configurations

• Implement minor code changes in Java to adjust application behavior or fix bugs

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Configuring CI/CD pipelines and deployments

• Preparing monitoring solutions

• Developing new features in Java with the team

• Participating in requirement analysis and system improvements

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with Java development

• Based in Košice or nearby

• Proactive mindset strong collaboration and communication skills

• Understanding of REST APIs databases cloud services

• Experience with Linux Docker Kubernetes or OpenShift

• Strong English communication skills

NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge of manufacturing environments

• Background in IT support or service technician roles

• Experience as a software engineer

• Knowledge of REST APIs databases Linux

• MES knowledge

• Docker / Kubernetes / OpenShift

• CI/CD experience

• Driving License
