Core Responsibilities

1. Designing and leading lessons that cover the full spectrum of the mathematics curriculum from foundational arithmetic to advanced trigonometry.

2. Breaking down complex problems into logical manageable steps to help students build problem-solving resilience.

3. Conducting regular assessments to identify learning gaps and implementing targeted support for students who require extra assistance.

4. Preparing Year 11 cohorts for their GCSE examinations through rigorous revision sessions and mock exam analysis.

5. Encouraging a positive can-do attitude toward mathematics to reduce subject anxiety and improve classroom engagement.

The Successful Candidate We are seeking a teacher who is as methodical as they are creative in their delivery. Requirements include

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a highly numerate subject.

• The ability to adapt teaching strategies to support both struggling learners and those aiming for top grades.

• A deep understanding of the current national curriculum and effective pedagogical approaches to mathematics.

• Strong classroom management skills that allow for a productive and focused learning environment.
