Job Summary

The Role

  • Teaching Computer Science across KS3 and KS4 with potential KS5 (A-Level) depending on experience

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in Python Java and web development

  • Supporting pupils with NEA project work and examination preparation for GCSE/A-Level

  • Promoting high standards of digital literacy and online safety

  • Encouraging creativity through game design robotics and app development

  • Monitoring pupil progress and using assessment effectively to raise attainment

  • Contributing to wider STEM initiatives and extracurricular coding clubs

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related subject

  • Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level

  • Strong subject knowledge in algorithms data structures and programming

  • High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress

  • A professional organised and positive teaching approach
