The Role

• Teaching Physical Education across KS3 and KS4 with potential BTEC/GCSE PE theory

• Planning and delivering engaging well-structured practical lessons in a range of sports

• Supporting pupils with practical assessments and theoretical examination preparation

• Promoting high standards of sportsmanship effort and inclusivity

• Encouraging confidence and independence through individual and team activities

• Monitoring pupil progress and using assessment effectively to raise attainment

• Contributing to the schools extensive fixtures list and extracurricular sports clubs

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Sports Science Physical Education or a related subject

• Experience teaching PE at the secondary level

• Strong subject knowledge and confident practical delivery across various disciplines

• High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress

• A professional organised and positive teaching approach
