We are working with a flagship Independent School in Brighton seeking an organized and committed School Librarian for a September 2026 start. This is a full-time permanent position for a specialist who values the pursuit of scholarly inquiry and the development of a knowledge-rich reading culture.

The Role The successful candidate will lead the schools library and research centre ensuring it remains a technology-rich hub for academic inquiry. We are looking for a professional who can lead by example managing a diverse collection of digital and physical resources with total precision. You will provide the technical support required to assist students with high-level research and coordinate literary events that reflect the schools Pride in Achievement ethos. This role requires an individual who thrives in a well-ordered environment and can foster a love for literacy in a scholarly atmosphere. You will be a valued peer within the school contributing to a safe and inspiring space where pupils treat others as equals and show exceptional respect.
