Job Summary

About the Role
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join one of our global clients a leading organization operating in a dynamic international environment. This role sits within a shared services structure and focuses on delivering high-quality HR support to employees across the EMEA region. You will act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries ensuring smooth HR operations while collaborating closely with various internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees across the EMEA region handling a wide range of HR-related queries

  • Provide guidance and support on core HR processes including time off leave management benefits and compensation

  • Collaborate closely with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) Payroll Data Operations HR Business Partners and Legal teams

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations with a strong focus on German employment law

  • Prepare and manage HR documentation such as employment verifications reference letters mutual agreements and unpaid leave requests

  • Support and deliver onboarding sessions for new employees

  • Guide employees in using HR self-service tools and systems (e.g. Workday)

  • Manage and resolve employee cases through case management systems (e.g. Trax)

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes within a shared services environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role ideally within an international or shared services environment

  • Solid understanding of German employment law

  • Experience supporting a large diverse employee population

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday or similar platforms

  • Fluent in German and English
