Location & work model: GTA Hybrid (Must be available for in-person workshop with the client at their office)

Project Background:

The client has aimed to modernise IT Operations and Event Monitoring by implementing ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM). The initiative focused on replacing legacy tools (e.g. Microfocus) with ServiceNows enterprise monitoring and event management capabilities improving visibility automation and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Assist with ServiceNow Event Management Implementation

Assist with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping in relation to Event Management

Assist with end to end development support on the implementation of ServiceNow Event Management

Follow ServiceNow development and documentation standards

Assist with Integration of various data sources to ServiceNow Event Management module

Assist with running technical design workshops with client related to Event Management Discovery Service Mapping

Act as a lead developer and own all development activities and complete all user stories

Provide thought leadership industry leading practices for Event Management

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in JavaScript XML HTML CSS and ServiceNow scripting.

Deep understanding of ITOM modules: Discovery Service Mapping Event Management.

Experience with CMDB design and maintenance.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure) and hybrid environments.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

Certified Implementation Specialist (ITOM).

Optional: Certifications in Discovery Service Mapping Event Management and IntegrationHub.

RESTful and SOAP web services.

Knowledge of orchestration and automation frameworks.
