Job Summary
Position: Performance Tester
Location: Toronto Canada
Work Mode: Hybrid (1 day/week onsite downtown Toronto)
Salary: Up to CAD 105000 per annum
We are seeking a Performance Tester with strong expertise in UI and browser-level performance testing for high-traffic customer-facing web applications. This role involves end-to-end performance validation analysis of UI/system behavior and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and reliable user experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute performance tests (load stress endurance scalability) for web applications.
- Develop test strategies scenarios and scripts aligned with traffic patterns and SLA/SLOs.
- Perform UI and browser-level performance testing including response times concurrency and latency.
- Analyze results by correlating UI metrics with backend and infrastructure performance.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across frontend APIs and caching layers.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to implement performance improvements.
- Deliver clear performance reports with insights and recommendations.
- Strong experience in UI performance testing for high-traffic applications.
- Expertise in LoadRunner or JMeter (with knowledge of LoadRunner concepts).
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular React etc.).
- Solid understanding of HTTP/S browser behavior caching and CDN.
- Experience with APM/monitoring tools (Dynatrace AppDynamics Splunk Grafana).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
- Strong troubleshooting and performance analysis skills.
- Experience with CI/CD-integrated performance testing.
- Background in banking or large enterprise environments.
