Job Summary:
Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City is seeking a dependable and safety-focused School Bus Driver to transport children to and from the academy as well as for field trips and school-related activities. The ideal candidate is responsible patient and committed to providing a safe and positive experience for young children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the academys bus/van on assigned routes and schedules
• Pick up and drop off children at designated stops
• Ensure the safety of children during boarding transit and drop-off
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the vehicle
• Follow all Maryland state traffic laws and childcare transportation regulations
• Maintain appropriate behavior and supervision of children while on the vehicle
• Communicate effectively with academy staff and parents as needed
• Report any accidents delays or maintenance concerns immediately
• Assist with light duties within the academy when not driving (if required)

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Maryland Drivers License (CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements preferred if applicable)
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Previous experience driving a school bus or passenger vehicle preferred
• Ability to pass criminal background check drug screening and medical examination
• Must meet Maryland childcare transportation requirements
• Comfortable working with young children (infants to school-age)

Work Schedule:

• Part-time or full-time with split shifts (morning and afternoon routes)
• Additional hours may be required for field trips and special events
