Job Title: Residential BCBA (Clinical Coordinator)
Location: Andover MA
Job Summary:
The Residential BCBA is responsible for providing clinical oversight and implementing behavior intervention strategies for a residential caseload of students across multiple living environments. This role ensures high standards of clinical care through functional assessments behavior support planning crisis intervention and staff training.
The Residential BCBA collaborates across both residential and educational settings maintaining consistent program implementation and promoting student independence while reducing the need for restrictive interventions. This position requires strong leadership advanced clinical expertise and a proactive hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop comprehensive behavior support plans.
  • Ensure behavioral goals and objectives are aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide regular direct observations in residential and classroom settings and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Implement and maintain behavior intervention strategies with a focus on consistency and effectiveness.
  • Train mentor and supervise management staff and direct care personnel using structured feedback systems.
  • Support crisis intervention efforts and ensure appropriate response strategies are followed.
  • Oversee weekly student progress reviews and ensure timely implementation of recommendations.
  • Serve as a clinical supervisor and mentor for trainees pursuing BCBA certification.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings admissions processes and clinical reviews.
  • Collaborate with families and provide parent training and support when needed.
Additional Duties:
  • Promote best practices in applied behavior analysis and ensure adherence to clinical standards.
  • Support program development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or Special Education (Doctoral degree preferred).
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • 7 10 years of experience in clinical service delivery and supervision in educational or residential settings.
  • 3 5 years of experience in program management staff supervision and training.
  • Strong expertise in functional analysis behavior intervention and evidence-based practices for individuals with complex behavioral needs.
  • Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
Work Schedule:
  • Full-time flexible schedule
  • Availability for evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
