Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Warehouse Associate Finished Goods to work on-site with our client in Phoenix AZ. This is a short-term contract role with potential for extension supporting a solar manufacturing facility.
Position Summary The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting material flow and finished goods operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for receiving storing organizing and distributing materials to ensure production and shipping timelines are met with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Material Handling & Inventory - Receive inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Label store and organize materials in designated warehouse locations
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation
- Maintain accurate inventory records and minimize discrepancies
Shipping & Distribution - Pick pack label and palletize finished goods for shipment
- Coordinate with shipping teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Support outbound and inbound logistics operations
Operational Support - Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts pallet jacks etc.) safely
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization (5S standards)
- Report damaged or defective materials
Collaboration & Compliance - Work cross-functionally with production procurement and logistics teams
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards
- Participate in safety training and adhere to PPE requirements
Qualifications Required: - High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience
- Experience in inventory management and material handling
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physical environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred: - Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
Work Environment - Warehouse setting with exposure to temperature changes dust and noise
- Requires standing walking lifting and use of PPE
- Not solely a forklift role - includes full warehouse responsibilities
