Summary:
Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies
Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate cross-functional solutions
Create and implement conceptual designs while maintaining program architecture
Lead and execute manufacturing plans
Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure process capability meets requirements
Provide producibility input for project planning and document best practices
Evaluate design/build concepts for manufacturability
Resolve complex technical issues impacting cost performance or schedule
Apply advanced engineering principles technologies and concepts
Ensure production readiness for complex solutions
Implement and drive lean manufacturing principles
Requirements:
Bachelors Masters or Doctorate degree in Engineering Engineering Technology Computer Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or related field (ABET accredited preferred)
5 years of relevant engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
5 years of experience with parts materials and process specifications related to production testing electrical subsystems aircraft interiors or aircraft systems
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of experience in production planning including ownership of value stream build plans
Experience with aircraft systems (e.g. 787) production testing electrical installations or interiors
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced diverse and demanding work environment
