Job Summary
Job Title: Solution Architect Oracle Cloud (Operate / AMS)
Location: Austin TX (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract / Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud to support and lead architecture within a production (Operate/AMS) environment. This role will focus on ensuring system stability managing integrations and overseeing incident problem and change management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Own and define current and future-state architecture across Oracle Cloud (ERP/SCM) integrations and data flows
- Act as an escalation point for complex production issues and lead root cause analysis (RCA)
- Govern integration frameworks using FBDI REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Ensure monitoring error handling and resiliency of integrations
- Lead production releases defect fixes and minor enhancements
- Manage environment readiness cutover planning and validation
- Drive Oracle quarterly update impact assessments and coordinate testing
- Maintain runbooks SOPs and knowledge base documentation
- Provide operational reporting including SLA tracking incident trends and recurring issues
- Mentor support teams and ensure adherence to ITIL processes
- 8 years of experience with Oracle technologies (Oracle Cloud preferred)
- Experience in solution architecture within a production or AMS environment
- Strong knowledge of FBDI REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Experience with OTBI BI Publisher (BIP) and Groovy scripting
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes (incident problem and change management)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Oracle Cloud AMS/Operate model
- Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow or Jira
- Experience with reporting tools such as Smart View
