FocusPoint is supporting a long standing enterprise partner with the addition of a Project Manager who can operate inside a capital funded IT environment where priorities shift personalities vary and outcomes matter more than ceremony. This role is not a template PM assignment. It requires someone who reads the room keeps momentum without rigidity and can translate complex technical work into clear high signal summaries for senior leaders.
This engagement runs now through year end with annual capital approval cycles that create a realistic path for extension.
What This Role Actually Looks Like Day to Day
The incoming PM will move across several concurrent workstreams-some vendor led some internally owned some primarily financial or coordination driven. The mix typically includes:
- Infrastructure heavy initiatives (networking refreshes environment upgrades)
- Projects where the PM is the primary driver
- Vendor run efforts where the PM ensures alignment accountability and communication
- Capital tracking refresh cycles and executive level reporting
- High level planning and outcome summaries rather than deep Gantt style artifacts
This is not a sequential one project at a time environment. Success requires comfort juggling multiple efforts without losing clarity or composure.

Work Location
The work can be performed remotely with the expectation of periodic on site presence-typically a week at a time roughly once per month depending on project cadence.
Reporting Structure
The PM will work directly with and report to the Senior Manager overseeing the IT portfolio. This leader is hands on outcome focused and expects clear communication rather than excessive process.
Interview Flow

Compensation
The target range for this engagement is 48 to 58 per hour depending on experience and alignment with the environment described above.
