Job Title:Desktop Engineer ChromeOS & Device Management

Location: Jersey City NJ (5 days onsite)

12 Months

Rate: 70$-75$ on W2

Position Overview

The Desktop Engineer will support and manage enterprise endpoint devices with a focus on ChromeOS Google Workspace and modern device management platforms.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with experience supporting diverse endpoint environments including ChromeOS Windows macOS and mobile devices within a large enterprise setting. The engineer will play a key role in device lifecycle management policy enforcement and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support ChromeOS devices using Google Admin Console
  • Manage device configurations policies and security settings within Google Workspace
  • Support and troubleshoot endpoints across ChromeOS Windows macOS and mobile platforms
  • Administer and maintain MDM/UEM platforms (Omnissa Workspace ONE Intune JAMF or similar)
  • Enforce device compliance security policies and access controls
  • Support BYOD initiatives and ensure proper device enrollment and governance
  • Troubleshoot hardware OS and application-related issues across enterprise endpoints
  • Collaborate with security infrastructure and EUC teams to maintain endpoint health and compliance
  • Assist with device provisioning lifecycle management and platform improvements

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years of desktop support or endpoint engineering experience in large enterprise environments (1000 endpoints)
  • Hands-on experience with Google Admin Console ChromeOS management and Google Workspace
  • Experience administering MDM/UEM platforms (Omnissa Workspace ONE Intune JAMF or similar)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple operating systems (ChromeOS Windows macOS mobile)
  • Familiarity with device compliance endpoint security policies and BYOD management
  • Experience working in fast-paced enterprise-scale environments
