Application Developer

We have a one-year remote Application Developer contract opportunity in Jackson MS. The anticipated start date is May 1 2026.

Our client is seeking an Application Developer to serve as a C# subject matter expert while supporting quality assurance and testing efforts to ensure system enhancements do not impact HR and payroll operations.

In this role you will contribute to application development and troubleshooting including writing and maintaining C# code validating system changes through both manual and automated testing and supporting fellow developers with technical issues. You will also collaborate closely with functional teams during system testing to identify analyze and resolve defects.

No MBR. Contract is expected to extend beyond one year. Onsite is preferred though remote candidates will be considered.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science information systems or related field
• 7 years of experience (SME level) in C# development and application support
• 7 years of experience working with SQL / SQL Server (SME level)
• 7 years of experience with CI/CD practices in enterprise environments (SME level)
• 7 years of experience using Azure DevOps for source control builds and release pipelines (SME level)
• 7 years of experience with Git version control (SME level)
• 5 7 years of experience in data modeling schema design data migration and API development (Advanced level)
• 5 7 years of experience in QA/testing practices including unit integration and manual testing (Advanced level)
• 5 7 years of experience in test case design and UAT support (Advanced level)
• 5 7 years of experience in performance testing (Advanced level)
• 3 5 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server environments (Intermediate level)
• 3 5 years of experience in enterprise server environments and developer workstation setup (Intermediate level)
• 3 5 years of experience with JavaScript JSON and YAML (SME level preferred/required as specified)
• 3 5 years of experience with Azure cloud environments and services (SME level)
• 3 5 years of experience with ADABAS database systems (preferred)
• Familiarity with z/OS environments (Intermediate level preferred)
