The role involves overseeing system transformation projects aligning business and technical requirements and ensuring successful delivery within scope time and budget. Key Responsibilities
- Lead design development and implementation of IT transformation projects
- Provide strategic direction for enterprise-level technology initiatives
- Define business and technical requirements in collaboration with product owners SMEs and scrum teams
- Manage large-scale enterprise projects as well as smaller initiatives
- Coordinate with development teams and vendors to ensure successful implementation
- Establish and maintain project governance and control frameworks
- Ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget
- Mentor and guide state personnel in project management practices
- Support knowledge transfer and training for long-term sustainability
- Strong experience in IT project management particularly in large-scale enterprise environments
- Knowledge of child support program policies procedures and business operations
- Experience in child support system modernization projects
- Proven track record of successfully managing IT solutions
- PMP Certification or equivalent project management experience
- Strong understanding of project governance and delivery frameworks
- Familiarity with software development methodologies:
- Agile
- Waterfall
- DevOps
- Experience with enterprise system implementations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with government or public sector agencies
- Ability to provide strategic IT leadership
- Experience mentoring and training team members
- Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities
- Primarily remote role
- Must be available for travel to Pierre SD on an as-needed basis
