| REQUIRED SKILLS | 3 years of total professional experience in Power BI Azure data engineering analytics or related data roles At least 3 years of hands on SQL development supporting reporting analytics or data integration Comfortable owning work independently but not responsible for defining enterprise wide data strategy SQL (Must Have) - Strong to advanced experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Ability to write complex SQL queries views and stored procedures
- Experience supporting reporting analytics and data integration workloads
Business Intelligence & Reporting (Must-have) - Solid hands on experience with Power BI (dashboards datasets dataflows)
- Experience developing and maintaining SSRS reports
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear accurate reporting solutions
- Working knowledge of DAX and performance optimized report design
Data Engineering & Data Platforms (Must-have some experience/exposure) - Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure data services such as:
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure Data Lake Storage
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Microsoft Fabric
- Azure Data Factory
- Experience integrating data from multiple systems including on prem SQL sources
Data Modeling & Warehousing - Working to advanced understanding of data modeling for analytics and reporting
- Experience supporting data warehouses and/or data lakes
- Ability to design solutions that balance performance scalability and maintainability
- Quick learner/problem-solver
Business & Collaboration Skills - Ability to gather requirements directly from business stakeholders
- Comfortable explaining data and reports to non technical users
- Able to estimate effort manage priorities and meet delivery timelines
- Experience working within established standards and development practices
Professional Expectations - Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Self directed and accountable for deliverables
- Works well independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have - Experience in healthcare public sector or regulated environments
- Exposure to data governance or data quality practices
