Job Summary
Job Title: Physical Security Systems Engineer
Location: Onsite Texas North Carolina or Pennsylvania
Duration: Contract
- Design implement and configure complex security systems including access control visual controls IoT intrusion and other specialized technical physical security systems.
- Provide specialized technical support to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all related Security Systems.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and support and maintain physical security management systems and applications.
- Debug and resolve application database operating system and network issues for both pcs and servers with a variety of operating system combinations server hardware and network topologies in partnership with Database and Network teams as well as 3rd party vendors.
- Work on the rollout of new systems and remediation of existing systems while coordinating with project managers and physical security team members.
- Ensure the quality of services and solutions to application user base other application owners and IT technical teams.
- Ability to generate and manage status reports meeting minutes and change or outage notifications.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate proficiency skills and deep technical knowledge of the design programming and troubleshooting of one or more of the following: card access systems integrated security systems hybrid IT-based video systems or related information technology systems required.
- Ability to train others.
- Experience working with design installation integration and federation of Global Access Control and IP Video Management systems preferably working in the Genetec unified platform.
- Experience administering integrated Access Control and Video (CCTV) Systems (i.e. Genetec AXIS).
- Certification: Genetec Certified Preferred
