Job Summary

This position cares for patients before during and after an electrophysiology procedure. This position cares for Structural heart (including Watchman) Lead extractions ablations Vascular and EP pacemaker / device patients. This includes pre-procedure assessment pre-medication documentation of procedural process dysrhythmia interpretation and management mapping post-procedure care and patient education.

Responsibilities

(35%) *Performs nursing care for the above outlined procedures but not limited to:

(35%) *Circulate and assists during cases including sterically drop procedural supplies on tray scrubbing in the case running for supplies.

(15% ) *Records all pertinent information on appropriate data sheets.

(15%) *Assists Radiologic Technologists circulate cases sterically drop procedural supplies on tray.

Requirement description :

Invasive Imaging Experience - REQUIRED
2 Years of experience - REQUIRED
Electrophysiology Experience - PREFERRED
Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

ACLS (AHA)
BLS (AHA)

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

Michigan

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : Must be active!
Weekend Requirements : Call - 1 weekend every 8 weeks
On Call Requirements : 2 weekdays per month & 1 weekend every 8 weeks
