Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate and detail-oriented Oncology Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide specialized care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. The RN will utilize the nursing process to deliver patient-centered care support treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the patient journey.
Pay Rates
Full-Time: $42 $45/hour
Per-Diem: $45 $50/hour
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Provide safe and effective care for oncology patients including treatment support
Administer medications and monitor patient responses to therapies
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams from admission through discharge
Educate patients and families on diagnosis treatment plans and symptom management
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Additional Expectations
Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and compassionate patient care
Coordinate and direct care activities among healthcare team members
Promote patient safety and adherence to clinical standards
Support a patient-centered approach considering cultural and individual needs
Adapt to varying patient conditions and treatment plans
Requirements
Active RN license (state-specific or compact license preferred)
BLS/CPR certification
Minimum 1 2 years of oncology or acute care experience preferred
Strong communication clinical and organizational skills
