Laser Manufacturing Engineer

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Maintain troubleshoot and repair laser test benches optical setups electrical and mechanical fixtures.
• Ensure high equipment uptime and availability to support production targets.
• Develop execute and continuously improve preventive maintenance (PM) programs for production and test equipment.
• Perform product validation verification and release activities.
• Conduct detailed failure analysis on defective laser units and components.
• Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations
• Monitor and drive production KPIs including First Pass Yield (FPY) Defective Parts Rate Test Yield Equipment Uptime
• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance yield quality and productivity.
• Work closely with R&D Quality Production and Supply Chain teams to resolve technical issues.

Skills You Bring:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics Physics Optics Photonics or related field.
• Min. 3 years of relevant experience in laser manufacturing optical systems semiconductor electronics manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of Fiber lasers optical components beam profiling and power measurements.
• Experience in optical alignment and optical troubleshooting

Preferred Skills:

• Proficient with Failure Analysis & Root Cause Tools
• Familiar with Manufacturing & Process Engineering
• Strong analytical skills using Excel Minitab JMP Python or similar tools.
• Experience in technical reporting and documentation capability.
