Professional Experience
• 9 years of professional working experience of which a minimum of 4 years hands-on
SAP implementation / support experience with at least one full life cycle
implementation project in SAP Sales and Distribution and/or IS-Oil.
• Knowledge of SAP Transportation Management and Fiori apps related to these
modules will be an added advantage
• Strong understanding of Sales and Distribution and Marketing business processes:
order-to-cash pricing contracts delivery billing and transportation and logistics
operations
• Good knowledge of SAP SD TM and IS-Oil
• Should be a proven self-starter and team player and be able to coordinate with other
team members in completing assigned tasks.
• Demonstrates a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Operates
independently using mature judgment in planning and performing assignments and
achieving defined objectives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in downstream operations bulk logistics or terminal management.
• Exposure to agile or hybrid project management methodologies will be an added
advantage.
Role Objective
Provide specialist support to SD and IS-Oil workstream in the SAP S/4 HANA Transformation
Program. Support implementation of the SD and IS-Oil migration and consolidation activities
and guide the 'System Integrator' team with key design decisions on improving business
processes and functions after due analysis and consultations. Support the Head and work
collaboratively with Business Process Owners and ensure delivery of the SD and IS-Oil
business process requirements and successful transition to the new S4HANA
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver key design decisions ensure timely migrations activities as per Project plan for the
SD IS-Oil and TM workstream in the SAP S/4HANA transformation program including
planning design testing and deployment.
• Identify engage and advise Business on Process Improvements and new business
functions and solutions to business problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT business units external consultants) to
consolidate multiple SAP landscapes and interfaces to SAP systems into a unified
S/4HANA landscape.
• Lead the testing activity and ensure multiple rounds of testing of all BPML processes are
delivering expected results and with no critical errors
• Drive data migration strategy for SD and IS-Oil -related data ensuring accuracy and
completeness.
• Oversee fit-gap analysis blueprinting and solution design for SD IS-Oil and
Transportation Management modules
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
• Support the Head in establishing governance frameworks within relevant Directorate(s) for
Project Governance Scope Management and Cost Control
• Drive change management training and stakeholder engagement for HCM business
processes and associated change impacts
• Adherence to Project Implementation Standards and Quality Management Systems
(QMS) processes to achieve a standard approach to work practices and technologiesJOB DESCRIPTION
• Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies specific to SD IS-Oil and TM
processes
• Drive change management training and stakeholder engagement for Marketing and
Operations business processes and associated change impacts
• Escalate and Resolve SAP product issues through active liaising with SAP AG
• Contribute towards sectional KPI’s and targets that are aligned to the
Division/department objectives
• Anticipate evaluate mitigate on any delays foreseen obstacles design and quality
issues and potential risks. Apprise/Escalate to the Supervisor as necessary
Educational Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / petroleum / management / or equivalent
• Professional certifications (e.g. SAP SD SAP S/4HANA Sales IS-Oil) are a plus.
