Job Summary
Category Manager Grocery
Position Summary
The Category Manager Grocery is responsible for leading strategic sourcing and end-to-end category management for assigned dry grocery and consumer packaged goods categories including Latin-focused national and international brands. This role owns category strategy supplier partnerships pricing promotions and risk mitigation to ensure profitable growth supply continuity and alignment with Talpa Supermercados customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop category strategies pricing and promotions.
Manage national and international suppliers.
Lead commercial negotiations and contracts.
Partner with Supply Chain Finance and Operations.
Analyze financial cost and supply performance.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in supply chain Business or related field.
4 years of experience in Category Management Procurement or Supply Chain.
Skills
Grocery category management advanced negotiation financial analysis advanced Excel ERP and BI tools.
Knowledge of the U.S. grocery retail market including Latin and national brands preferred.
Strongly preferred Bilingual EnglishSpanish.
Travel Requirement
Up to 30% travel to stores distribution centers and suppliers.
