Dental Assistant I or II Oral Surgeon (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri)
Job Summary
Busy Oral Surgery office in midtown Toronto is looking for a Dental Assistant Level I or II 4 days a week.
POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
HOURS:Mon Tues Thurs Fri 7:30-3:30
COMPENSATION: TBD
SOFTWARE: Tracker (can be trained)
JOB OVERVIEW:
Assist with oral surgery procedures including wisdom tooth extractions and implant
placements
Sterilization and infection control protocols (IPAC)
Take and position patients for Panoramic (Pan) Periapical (PA) and CBCT imaging
Operate and maintain a Trios intraoral scanner
Coordinate and communicate treatment plans for surgical cases
Implant planning and coordination for future procedures
Ensure monthly and yearly office maintenance and supply checks
Provide thorough post-operative home care instructions
Work with implant systems such as Straumann Nobel and Astra ordering and
maintaining implant inventory

- Previous surgical assisting experience preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
