Casual Hourly Rate: Casual HEW 3 ($44.04 per hour 12% superannuation)

About the Role:

The Casual Chef supports the day-to-day operations of the Waurn Ponds Pantry kitchen. You must be quick-thinking and agile with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment utilizing your strong verbal communication skills. Additionally you should have the ability to work in a small team environment producing high-quality food while maintaining an eye for detail.

To be successful youll have:

• Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience
• Proven skills in both ala carte and conference and events catering
• Must possess reliability self-motivation organizational skills and excel as a team player
• Demonstrates a positive attitude

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Assist in delivery of events functions and food for display
• Organise manage and independently operate your assigned section
• Assist with order placement overall cleaning and general preparation tasks
• Adhere to health and hygiene standards
• Assist in fostering and nurturing a culture of professionalism and pride in the workplace

Additional Requirements:

• The role requires the incumbent to apply for and maintain a Working With Children Check
