Job Summary
- Ensure all packaging labels meet company standards and regulatory requirements preventing errors in inventory shipping and product identification.
- Proficient at operating bag filling equipment to efficiently and accurately package products ensuring proper fill levels.
- Proficient in using heat sealers to properly seal bags or containers while maintaining packaging integrity and preventing leaks or contamination.
- Skilled in setting up and operating palletizing equipment to efficiently organize and stack products onto pallets according to production requirements
- Can print off tags for the days stores
- Performs quality control tests in QC lab.
- Set up and operate bottle-filling machine.
- Ability to operate the label machine
- Accurately blends raw materials to produce batches of liquid products where applicable.
- Use wireless RF device or desktop computer to perform all necessary functions.
- Weighs measures and prepares raw materials for use in production.
- Loads and unloads trucks as needed.
- Ability to operate a box truck
- Lifts moves and arranges materials onto and off pallets and moves pallets boxes and items from bin locations to staging areas or other designated areas.
- Perform equipment checklists at the start of the shift.
- Willing to be certified on equipment including but not limited to sit-down forklift reach truck order- picker automatic wrapping machine strapping machine and powered and non-powered pallet jack
- Able to securely band and/or wrap pallets in a timely fashion.
- Ensure that all pallets and items are clearly and accurately labeled.
- Use wireless RF device or desktop computer to perform all necessary functions.
- Teach coach and train other members of the team
- Participate in Cycle counting and Physical Inventory.
- Responsible for helping to maintain a clean safe and organized working environment.
- Business need may require the employee to perform essential duties and responsibilities as listed in Manufacturing Worker 1 job description.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Ability to read and write in English.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong work ethic.
- 1 2 years previous warehouse/distribution experience.
- Sit-down Forklift and reach truck experience required. Current certification or ability to be certified within 30 days of start date.
- Basic organizational mathematical and computer skills.
- Knowledge of proper safety measures.
- Ability to manually move and lift 50 lbs. regularly and frequently up to and over 100 lbs.
- Ability to work at varying heights.
- Ability to stand frequently as well as the ability to walk sit balance stoop kneel or crouch.
- Ability to work independently or with a group.
