This is a REALLY special opportunity to run an absolute cracker of a venue right in the heart of the Sunny Coast! The Northern Grounds (4558) is looking for its next Publican to take the reins.

The Dining Hall is the heart of Northern Grounds a spacious area that spills out onto the deck with stunning water views; the Bar is an expansive area flowing onto the deck with 24 taps pouring ice cold beer; The Deck is where the great outdoors truly comes alive offering a sprawling space perfect for soaking up the Sunshine Coast air

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes hospitality leads from the front and brings locals together by creating pub experiences they love.

Northern Grounds is more than just a bar its a true celebration of the Australian outdoors a place where the fires always burning and the doors always open. Were about honesty simplicity and the feeling of a cold beer shared with mates with a vibe thats humble warm and welcoming to everyone.

Publican - In the world of Pubs leadership is the art of turning strangers into friends and friends into loyal guests 

A day in the life of a Publican:

• You know the locals by name they reckon youre one of their own all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L.
• You run the place like its your own modern-day home keeping things safe smooth and compliant.
• Youre the pillar of the local community and the driving force behind a high-performing team.
• You put out fires before anyone even notices there was smoke.
• You bring the vibe the service and the smiles every shift every day.

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock kegs and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

You already know if this is for you. Youve got the experience the presence and the pride it takes to own a pub like its been yours forever. Youre not just running a venue - youre living the Publican life.

• Hold current industry RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications as per state requirements
