We are seeking a part-time Administrator to provide high-quality administrative support to the Global Partnerships and Development team and the Associate Director within our International Office.
This role is well-suited for someone connected to the university or a former student with overseas experience seeking part-time work. Ideally you will have a strong service orientation and a natural ability to connect and build relationships with those around you.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing administrative support for international programs including handling inquiries and promoting student mobility programs.
Coordinating logistics for student events staff orientations and international visitor itineraries.
Managing financial administration such as purchase orders invoice processing and expense tracking.
Delivering operational support for travel arrangements documentation filing systems and office supplies.
This is a part-time 20 hours per week (0.53 FTE) 12-month fixed-term position. We offer flexibility regarding which days you work or the length of your shifts to help you balance other commitments. The salary is between $56400 and $71000 (pro-rated per annum and for part-time) negotiable depending on skills and experience.

You are an experienced administrator or office-based professional with a high level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities allowing you to handle sensitive information and challenging situations with a calm professional approach. Ideally you are proficient in Microsoft Office and can quickly learn new systems and you are a proactive learner who thrives in collaborative environments.
While not essential a relevant tertiary qualification and previous experience working within tertiary education or international settings would be highly regarded.

- Some experience in administration or office environments.
- Preferably some exposure to tertiary education or international environments which could include being a current student or someone who has been on an international student exchange programme.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information and a variety of situations and deadlines calmly.
- High level of attention to detail organisational ability and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
