Job Summary

POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for planning and leading multiple complex crossfunctional technology initiatives from initiation through stabilization and operational handoff. This role provides delivery leadership across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and infrastructurerelated initiatives including planning execution data conversion testing cutover and postgolive support. 

This position leads largerscale higherrisk initiatives that span multiple systems business functions vendors and workstreams while providing mentorship delivery rigor and governance oversight across the portfolio. This role requires strong judgment proactive risk management and the ability to operate effectively in environments with ambiguity changing priorities and executive visibility. 

Projects may span packaged applications (e.g. ERP CRM) custom development system integrations data and analytics solutions infrastructure modernization and security initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep SDLC experience strong business partnership skills and comfort operating across Waterfall Agile and hybrid delivery models. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Enterprise Project Delivery & Leadership 

  • Lead future multiple concurrent IT-enabled projects ranging from moderate to high complexity overseeing scope schedule budget resources risks and outcomes 
  • Serve as the primary delivery owner for complex crossfunctional initiatives that require coordination across business units IT teams and external partners 
  • Apply disciplined project governance practices while adapting delivery approaches to fit project needs and organizational maturity 
  • Proactively identify delivery risks dependencies and tradeoffs; escalate with recommendations and mitigation strategies 
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time on budget and in alignment with business objectives compliance requirements and technology standards. 

Systems Portfolio Coverage 

Projects may include initiatives across: 

  • Applications 
  • ERP platforms (e.g. Workday) 
  • Property management and real estate systems (Yardi) 
  • CRM platforms and broker applications 
  • System integrations APIs and middleware 
  • BI analytics reporting and data cleansing / conversion solutions 
  • Infrastructure and foundational IT services 
  • Security platforms and services 
  • Selected non-IT business initiatives as needed 

SDLC & Delivery Methodology 

  • Lead projects through all SDLC phases: Initiation Planning Execution Monitoring & Control Deployment and Stabilization 
  • Own or coordinate delivery across project workstreams including:  
  • Project management 
  • Functional and process design 
  • Application configuration or development 
  • Integrations and interfaces 
  • Data conversion and reporting 
  • Testing and validation 
  • Security and controls 
  • Training and organizational change management 
  • Select tailor and apply Waterfall Agile or hybrid methodologies based on solution architecture vendor approach and business readiness 
  • Facilitate or lead Agile ceremonies (where applicable) and ensure delivery discipline regardless of methodology 
  • Maintain delivery discipline governance standards and documentation across all methodologies 
  • Provide executive sponsors and steering committees with timely and actionable status insights and recommendations 

Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership 

  • Partner closely with business leaders and subject matter experts to translate strategic and operational needs into actionable delivery plans 
  • Lead requirements clarification process mapping and currentstate / futurestate analysis 
  • Provide clear concise and actionable project communications tailored to executive leadership and teamlevel audiences 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to sponsors by providing transparency insights and recommendations to support informed decisions 

Portfolio Support & Continuous Improvement 

  • Support portfoliolevel planning by identifying crossproject dependencies risks and optimization opportunities 
  • Contribute to delivery standards templates and improvements in PMO practices and governance 
  • Mentor less senior project managers as needed providing guidance on delivery approach issue management and stakeholder engagement 

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science Information Systems or a related field  
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects that include data conversion/migration and UAT through signoff 
  • Working knowledge of the SDLC and handson experience managing projects using Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies 
  • Strong communication organizational and analytical skills 
  • 810 years of progressive IT project management experience including leadership of largescale or enterprise initiatives 
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects with data conversion/migration and UAT through business signoff 
  • Strong working knowledge of the SDLC and handson experience delivering projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies 
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and stakeholders 
  • Experience working with common project management tools (e.g. Jira Azure DevOps etc.) 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Working knowledge of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) services and business operations 
  • Direct Commercial Real Estate industry experience (e.g. brokerage property management development facilities tenant services) 
  • Experience with financial systems and/or accounting degree 
  • PMP Certified Scrum Master or other recognized project management certifications
