Senior Analyst Programmer ()

The Division of Transdisciplinary Undergraduate Programmes at Hong Kong Baptist University is seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Senior Analyst Programmer to work on a teaching and learning web and mobile system development project.

Responsibilities:

• Perform design development testing and maintenance of the system for the project;
• Collaborate with supervisors and project stakeholders to gather user requirements;
• Prepare documentation and provide technical assistance and support to system users; and
• Evaluate various software systems and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• A bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development;
• Familiar with full-stack web development (e.g. MongoDB) and cloud services (e.g. Azure AWS GCP) would be an advantage;
• Expertise in data protection and database security with substantial experience in securing information systems to comply with the latest security standards will be a plus;
• Responsible self-motivated detail-oriented and an effective team player; and
• Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.

The appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
