About the Team/Service/ Location
Gisborne Hospital is a 110-bed acute care hospital which serves a wide geographical area extending up the East Cape of New Zealand creating enormous scope and variety in the work available to an enthusiastic House Officer. Providing healthcare to a population of 54000 Health NZ Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti is well supported locally by comprehensive surgical services and has a full range of diagnostic facilities on site including a new MRI scanner and CT scanner. We have strong ties with our tertiary referral centre in Waikato.

About you
- Suitable for Resident Medical Officers PGY2 level and above.
- Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration with theMedical Councilof New Zealand
- You will need to be a NZ or Australian citizen or resident or have an appropriate visa to be eligible to live and work in NZ. For more information on visa requirements please visit theImmigration NZ website
- Competency with te ao Māori tikanga and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
