Emergency Veterinarian Monroeville PA
A veterinary hospital is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join its dynamic and collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical life-saving care in a fast-paced environment supported by advanced technology and experienced clinical staff. Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to critically ill or injured animals
- Perform rapid assessments diagnostics and life-saving interventions
- Develop and implement treatment plans for emergency cases
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as digital radiography ultrasound CT and in-house laboratory equipment
- Perform emergency procedures and stabilize patients as needed
- Collaborate with veterinary specialists and support staff for comprehensive care
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners during high-stress situations
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible veterinary license
- Experience or interest in urgent care or emergency medicine
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
