Job Title: Principal Systems Engineer

Position Overview

The Principal Systems Engineer is a senior individual contributor who owns systemlevel architecture and technical direction for complex platforms. This role works across software AI systems cloud platforms and hardwareaware architectures with a strong focus on performance scalability and memorycentric systems.

The engineer operates with a high degree of independence solves highly complex problems and influences technical direction across multiple teams. This role remains handson while also setting standards and mentoring senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and define endtoend system architecture across frontend backend Linuxbased systems and cloud infrastructure
• Design and build fullstack platforms including services APIs data pipelines and user interfaces
• Architect and integrate AI and agentbased workflows including orchestration memory and data handling
• Apply hardware and memory knowledge to optimize system performance scalability and efficiency
• Develop and review Linux system software and devicelevel components using C and C when required
• Lead performance analysis debugging and optimization across software and hardware layers
• Build and maintain webbased tools dashboards and visualizations to expose system behavior metrics and operational insights
• Collaborate closely with hardware firmware and platform teams within the semiconductor ecosystem
• Mentor senior and staff engineers; help define engineering standards and best practices
• Serve as a technical authority influencing design decisions and architectural direction beyond a single team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline
• 12 years of experience demonstrating expertlevel knowledge in systems engineering software engineering or platform development
• Recognized technical authority in one or more areas with extensive knowledge across multiple technical subfunctions
• Strong handson expertise in C C and Linux systems programming including performancecritical components
• Proven ability to define solutions and lead large highly complex technical projects with impact beyond a single team
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering largescale distributed fullstack systems
• Deep handson experience with data platforms including SQL and NoSQL databases for dataintensive workloads
• Experience building webbased tooling dashboards or visualization layers that surface system performance or operational data
• Ability to work with a high degree of independence guided by functional objectives rather than detailed instructions
• Strong track record of solving highly complex problems driving innovation and defining standards that others follow
• Demonstrated influence across teams through architecture ownership technical reviews and mentoring

Preferred Qualifications (Hardware / Memory / Accelerator Focus)

• Strong knowledge of advanced memory technologies including HBM LPDDR and emerging DRAM architectures and their systemlevel implications
• Experience working with or around AI accelerators (GPUs NPUs or custom silicon) with emphasis on memory bandwidth and data movement
• Understanding of AI/ML inferencecentric and memoryintensive workloads
• Experience with dataintensive or datacenterscale systems
• Familiarity with performance profiling analysis and optimization tools across CPU memory I/O and interconnects
• Experience using systemlevel models analytical frameworks or memory simulation tools to guide architectural decisions
• Background in semiconductor companies hardwarefocused organizations or close collaboration with silicon and firmware teams is strongly preferred
