Whats the role

We are looking for curious and passionate Team Members International Investigations and NPP Payment Exceptions to join our WIB Operations team.

As a Team Member International Investigations you will investigate and resolve international payment exceptions using TLM managing recalls returns and Day 2 enquiries in line with agreed timeframes. Youll prioritise a daily queue based on risk and FX cutoffs liaising with correspondent banks via SWIFT and handling highrisk cases with strong attention to detail and sound judgement.

As a Team Member NPP/OSKO Payment Exceptions you will investigate process and resolve OSKO payment exceptions accurately and within required timeframes. Using TLM youll manage payment recalls MIPS returns and enquiries liaise with internal teams and external banks and ensure highrisk payment issues are resolved efficiently to minimise financial risk and deliver strong customer outcomes.

Youll be based in Parramatta NSW working in a hybrid model with full-time office attendance during the first six months. Some weekend and public holidays flexibility will be required.


What do I need

  • Solid banking and finance knowledge ideally within payments investigations or operations.
  • Experience working with international payments including an understanding of SWIFT networks and ISO message formatting.
  • Strong attention to detail and an investigative mindset- able to ask the right questions particularly when reviewing complex payment flows (experience in Fraud or Financial Crime environments is highly regarded).
  • Understanding of privacy risk and compliance requirements within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel and Outlook.
