About the Role:
As a fast-growing F&B startup technology is a key enabler of our operational excellence scalability and customer experience. Our client is looking for a hands-on Senior Software Developer to build and own their internal automation systems business analytics infrastructure and customer-facing mobile app.
This is not a purely coding role you will work directly with operations marketing finance and HR to translate business problems into scalable tech solutions that drive revenue reduce cost and improve efficiency across stores. You will have the opportunity to own the tech/product vertical and build your team as they scale.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build & Own Internal Automation Systems
- Develop automation solutions for store operations manpower scheduling inventory tracking and reporting.
- Integrate systems such as POS accounting software HR/payroll etc.
- Design workflow automations to reduce manual admin at HQ and store level.
- Identify inefficiencies in operations and propose tech-driven solutions.
2. Develop Data & Analytics Infrastructure
- Build and maintain centralized data pipelines from POS and other systems.
- Develop real-time dashboards for sales labor cost inventory variance and store performance.
- Create automated reporting for management decision-making.
- Support forecasting and data-driven planning (e.g. manpower planning product performance).
- Ensure data accuracy integrity and accessibility across departments.
3. Build & Enhance Customer-Facing Mobile App
- Further develop our mobile app
- Integrate mobile app with POS and other backend systems.
- Work closely with marketing to implement campaigns referral programs and rewards engines.
- Ensure scalability as store count grows.
4. System Architecture & Scalability
- Design scalable system architecture to support rapid store expansion.
- Establish coding standards documentation practices and deployment pipelines.
- Ensure system reliability performance and security.
- Manage hosting cloud infrastructure and integrations.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations to understand store-level challenges.
- Partner with Finance on reporting automation and cost control tracking.
- Support HR on workforce analytics and scheduling tools.
- Act as the go-to technical advisor for digital initiatives.
What Were Looking For
Experience
- 5 years in software development ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Experience building automation tools and integrating multiple systems using n8n.
- Proven experience in mobile app development (Cross-platform).
- Experience building analytics dashboards or BI tools.
- APIs Webhooks and Authentication.
- Data Structures and formats (JSON).
Technical Skills
- Strong backend development (Python PHP Java).
- Mobile development (Flutter).
- Database management (Postgres SQL & NoSQL).
- API development and third-party integrations (POS platforms Data Lake Promotion systems Google Suite Internal tools and APIs).
- Cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Familiarity with automation or low-code tools (n8n Zapier Make etc.)
- Experience with frontend frameworks (React Vue Angular).
