Were working with a well-established family-run plant hire company specialising in dust suppression systems towable water bowsers and site equipment - and theyre looking for a Yard Fitter to join their team.
What youll be doing
- Servicing maintaining and repairing a range of light plant and specialist equipment
- Working on dust suppression units water bowsers pumps hoses and small engines
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
- Preparing equipment ready for hire
- Attending occasional breakdowns on customer sites
This is a varied hands-on role where no two days look the same.
What theyre looking for
You dont need to come from heavy plant.
If youre mechanically minded and know your way around engines youll be considered.
Backgrounds that fit well:
- Plant hire / tool hire
- Garden machinery / small engines
- Agricultural or mechanical engineering
- Automotive technicians (hands-on and adaptable)
- Or someone practical with strong mechanical ability
